Nyesom Wike, the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, has responded to a rumor that he gave over 2,000 hectares of land in Maitama and Asokoro to his son. Wike said the story is false and should not even be taken seriously.
In a video shared by ESET TV, Wike said people should do simple calculations to see the truth. He said that Maitama and Asokoro together do not even have 2,000 hectares of free land available. Wike said if any Nigerian applies for land in Abuja, they have the right to be considered.
