Nigeria’s Super Falcons will embark on a short trip from Brisbane to Melbourne on Thursday morning for their opening clash against Canada at the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup clash.

Randy Waldrum’s side will nestle at the Marriott Hotel, Avenger Park in Melbourne.

The former African champions will take on the Olympic champions at the Melbourne Rectangular Stadium in the early hours of Friday morning.

The players and their officials will however return back to the Sofitel Hotel Central Hotel, Brisbane immediately after the game.

The Super Falcons remaining two group games against Australia and Republic of Ireland will take place at the Brisbane Stadium.

Both matches will kick-off at 11am Nigeria time.

The 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup which will be co-hosted by Australia and New Zealand will start on Thursday and will run through August 20.
