Recently, Northern leaders under the Arewa Consultative Forum (ACF) rejected calls for the North to shelve its presidential ambition and support the re-election of Bola Ahmed Tinubu as president of Nigeria in the forthcoming 2027 presidential election.

According to the video, “If my brother or my father, as a northerner, cannot provide the leadership that would bring Nigeria together and unite the country, then I will say that my dad is not entitled to lead even as I speak here as a northerner.
If any Northerner believes that power belongs to the north, he or she is making a mistake”.
