The suspects, Edem Chucks, 24, Oluwatobi Adeniji, 23, and Emmanuel Ebere, were apprehended after allegedly kidnapping a 25-year-old man in the Oke Moro, Isashi.

A team, led by the Divisional Police Officer (DPO), rushed to the scene, where the victim was rescued.

Preliminary investigations indicated that the suspects had assaulted the victim and demanded a ransom of N2million.
The victim’s mother reportedly paid the ransom through two bank accounts, from where the suspects had allegedly withdrawn N1million via mobile transfer. The victim was also robbed of three travel passports and other valuable items.
The state Police Public Relations Officer, Benjamin Hundeyin, a Superintendent of Police (SP), confirmed the incident.
