Several Nigerians have taken to the streets to express their grievances regarding the hardships in the Nigerian economy resulting from the drastic increase in the prices of commodities.

However, tensions erupt in the country as a nationwide protest planned by citizens against the current administration led by Bola Tinubu is revealed.
Regarding this development, the lawmaker, Adamu, cited the need for the issue to be addressed with immediate effect before it escalated, as where the protest might lead is unknown.
He made this statement during a plenary session in the lower chamber.
In a video posted by Channels Television, Kabiru Adamu said, “We are not praying, Mr. Speaker; if we allow this protest to take place or escalate, we don’t know where it will stop.”.
