The Blues are, thus, in talks over the sale of players like Mateo Kovacic and Mason Mount, who are wanted by Manchester City and Manchester United, respectively.
They are also keen to strengthen their squad ahead of the 2023-2024 season in a bid to back new manager Mauricio Pochettino this summer transfer window.
One of Pochettino’s top priorities this summer is to sign a striker, as Joao Felix is set to return to Atletico Madrid at the end of his loan deal.
Lukaku, whose temporary deal with Inter Milan expires on June 30, also doesn’t appear to have a future at Chelsea, while Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has interest from several clubs, including Barcelona.
Hence, Vlahovic has emerged as a target for Chelsea as the west London club discussed the possibility of signing the Serbia international during a meeting with Juventus’ sporting director Giovanni Manna in London.
But the Serie A giants were quick to reject the proposal, citing that they are not interested in any swap deal for Vlahovic.
