The suspects were paraded at the command’s headquarters in Ibadan on Friday, where State Commandant Augustine Padonu revealed that the victim became pregnant and was later forced to undergo an abortion.

The suspects, aged 18, 19, and 43, allegedly conspired to commit the crime on multiple occasions in the Oranyan area of Ibadan in June.

The oldest suspect, a commercial driver, reportedly took the victim to an unlicensed nurse for the abortion. The nurse, who is 23 years old, has also been apprehended.

In a separate case, the command paraded a 19-year-old suspect for allegedly raping his employer’s nine-year-old daughter.

Additionally, three suspects were arrested for allegedly defrauding a victim of N17 million under the pretense of processing a visa.

Commandant Padonu stated that the command tracked down and arrested a 42-year-old suspect living in Imota, Ikorodu.

The suspect and his two accomplices had opened bank accounts in three different banks with the intent to defraud their victim.

Another three suspects were paraded for defrauding a store owner of N738,670.00.
