Loye, who is also a former governorship candidate in Osun State, lauded Dangote’s visionary leadership and unwavering commitment to transforming Nigeria’s energy sector.

He noted that the refinery, which is one of the largest in the world, is not only a testament to Dangote’s entrepreneurial acumen but also a crucial development that will positively impact the nation’s economy.

In a statement, Loye noted that he believes that the production of PMS by Dangote Refinery will solve a lot of problems bedevilling oil consumption in the country.

“The commencement of PMS production at the Dangote Refinery is a monumental achievement for Nigeria. Alhaji Aliko Dangote has once again demonstrated his dedication to the economic growth of our nation. His refinery will play a pivotal role in reducing our dependence on imported fuel, thereby saving the country billions of dollars in foreign exchange.

“This landmark achievement marks a significant milestone in Nigeria’s quest for energy self-sufficiency,” Loye said.

Loye further emphasised the importance of the refinery’s impact on job creation, local content development, and industrial growth. He highlighted that the project would lead to the employment of thousands of Nigerians and stimulate the growth of ancillary industries, thereby boosting the country’s GDP.

“As a businessman myself, I understand the immense challenges that come with undertaking such a mega project. Alhaji Dangote’s success in bringing this refinery to fruition serves as an inspiration to all Nigerian entrepreneurs and business leaders. It shows that with determination, strategic planning, and the right partnerships, we can achieve great things for our country.

“Alhaji Dangote’s achievement is a win for all Nigerians. I join millions of our compatriots in celebrating this historic moment,” he said.

Loye expressed optimism that the success of the Dangote Refinery would encourage further investments in the country’s oil and gas sector. He, however, called on both public and private sector stakeholders to continue supporting initiatives that enhance Nigeria’s economic resilience and sustainability.
