The Chairman of the Forum and governor of Bauchi state, Bala Mohammed, said this when he received North-east stakeholders of the party led by Ambassador Umar Damagun on a solidarity visit at the Government House, Bauchi.

He said all the organs and stakeholders of the PDP would work together to resolve amicably all the suspension and legal issues in the party in a bid to return the party to power at the centre in the next general elections.

Governor Bala appreciated Ambassador Damagun and all the PDP stakeholders in the region for their support to him as the chairman of the PDP Governors’ Forum and promised to live up to expectations by uniting the party.

Earlier, Ambassador Damagun said the informal visit to the governor was to discuss issues in the party across the country.

He appreciated the governor for his unwavering support to the party, saying the leaderships of PDP state chapters in the North-east were behind his leadership as the chairman of Forum.
