As part of his supports to the Governorship Candidate, Balogun Eyitayo Jegede who flew in from Abuja this morning met with members of the party in Wards Two and Eleven. He also addressed hundreds of PDP members who were waiting to receive him at another meeting organized by his elder brother, Comrade Gbenga Jegede. The meeting was attended by a member of the Board of Trustees of the party, Ambassador Omolade Oluwateru and other party leaders across Akure South.

The former Governorship Candidate of the People’s Democratic Party stated that voters in Akure South should stand against every form of intimidation, adding that they should also ensure that they monitor their votes until they get to the collation centres.
According to him, it’s time for the opposition party, PDP to take back what rightfully belongs to it from the APC administration led by Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa.
Jegede further assured them that his support to the Governorship Candidate of the party, HE Hon. Agboola Ajayi is total. He said there is nothing to share in zero, stressing that winning the November 17 Governorship Election is a key to the party’s victory in subsequent elections.
