The politician addressed his membership resignation letter to the National Chairman of the party, Julius Abure, with marked copy forwarded to his ward 2 Chairman in Ewohimi, Esan South-East Local Government Area of the state.

The lawyer and educationist, had in the past sought the governorship seat of the state through the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), and the All Progressives Congress (APC).

Imansuangbon, in his letter, noted that the LP had continued to be bugged down by intractable division, and had deviated from its core value and principle.

He added that the party could no longer offer purposeful and credible alternative to the Nigerian people as those in charge of the party ran the party like a “commercial entity.”

“What we have witnessed as far as am concern is poor Leadership and ineffective management, lack of vision and autocratic decision making.

“If you take a critical look at the party today you discovered that many notable leaders who founded the party has left the political party.” Imansuangbon lamented.

Imansuangbon, it would be recalled, lost the LP governorship ticket of the former President of the Nigeria Bar Association, (NBA), Olumide Akpata in the build up to the 2024 governorship election in which the party came a distance third.…..For More READ THE FULL ARTICLE HERE ▶▶
