Obasa claimed that the Lagos State Commissioner of Police was directly involved, leading a team of officers to storm the state assembly on the day he was impeached.

As reported by The Vanguard, it was made known that Mudashiru Obasa further alleged that over 200 policemen surrounded his private residence in Agege, blocked the gate, and restricted his family members from leaving the house.

He said he believed in the image of their institution, and they must not destroy it, and he (Obasa) will never partake in it’s destruction.

Further talking, he said, “I appreciate the members of the Governance Advisory Council (GAC) and Governor Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu of the state, he is my brother and he always calls me his younger brother.”
