He claimed that the monarch’s driver and another chief, Lukosi, joined in the beating. Despite pleading for mercy and asking for his offense, David alleged that the monarch cursed his children and boasted about having influence over the police department.

He said, “On the 21st of January, I was a bit indisposed and I came out to buy food by 11am. I heard from a shout from an oncoming car, beckoning on me. I looked in the direction of the car and saw that I couldn’t recognise its occupants because the glass was tinted. Later he ( the olorile of Orile, Oba Semiu Adewale) wind down the glass and said don’t you hear that I was calling you.
“Upon sighting him, I rush over to the car and said Kabiesi, I didn’t know you are the one. The last thing I saw was his hands stretched out and a heavy thud landed on my cheek. He pounced on me and started beating me. I was asking for my offence when his driver and one other Chief Lukosi also joined him in he beating.
“A young man whowas around in the neighborhood and know all of us then told me to prostrate and beg him. I did but I kept asking what my offence was. As I prostrated, I said Kabiesi you know that I am sick throughout last year. He responded by saying if you die, you’ll be buried somewhere, do you not know I have the whole police department wrapped in my fingers? And he started raining curses on my children.
“I kept asking asking for my offence but he could not say anything and he told his Chief Lukosi to record me with the hope to spread the video and shame me.
“That is why I came out to seek Nigerians’ help so they can come to my aid because I don’t want him to kill me like he normally do”.
