Nigerian singer Habeeb Okikiola, popularly known as Portable was declared wanted for allegedly assaulting government officials.
Portable berated his father for not going to the police station to defend him.
He claimed his father benefits from his wealth but failed to protect him in his time of need.
Despite being wanted, Portable has not turned himself in and continues to air his grievances online.
Controversial Nigerian singer, Habeeb Okikiola, popularly known as Portable, has criticized his father for failing to defend him at the police station after he was declared wanted.
Within Nigeria recalls that the singer was declared wanted following allegations that he assaulted some government officials.
However, instead of turning himself in, Portable took to social media to express his disappointment in his father’s lack of support.
In a viral video, Portable accused his father of being a “bad father” for not intervening in the matter, despite benefiting financially from him.
The singer claimed that he had given his father money to manage his properties and resolve issues on his behalf.
“But why my papa no go police station to cover me? He a bad father na him I dey give money to do all those house na him chop my money. If too say him don settle with them, I no go get problem with these people. Why my papa go dey run for police house wey be say na you I dey give money make you run am? All those houses belong to my BADMUS Family,” Portable lamented.
As of now, the singer has yet to report himself to the authorities, and the controversy surrounding his alleged assault case continues to unfold.
