The young lady was first reported missing on February 11. After an investigation and tracking, the police were able to trace the crime to Bello. A search of his residence revealed shocking evidence, including a machete, knife, axe, and a wooden table used for the gruesome act. Some of the victim’s body parts were also recovered from his house.
Police believe Bello did not act alone. According to Commissioner Olaiya, early investigations suggest that the crime may be linked to money rituals. The suspect is suspected of having customers who buy human body parts for ritual purposes. The police are now working to identify and arrest others who may be involved in this crime.
“This is not something he could have done alone. There are signs that he was supplying body parts to others. Our investigation will continue until we find all those connected to this terrible act,” Olaiya said. He gave the assurance to the public that they will ensure justice is served.
