Former Golden Eaglets forward Stanley Iheanacho has linked up with Danish club FC Midtjylland.
Iheanacho, who featured for the Golden Eaglets at the WAFU B U-17 Championship in Togo in 2021, penned a five-year contract with Midtjylland.
The 18-year-old will start with the club’s U-19 side.
The youngster was delighted to seal the transfer and is looking forward to starting his career at the club.
“I’m really happy, and it’s something I’ve been waiting for for a long time. It has been a hard fight to get here, so to be standing here now means a lot to me,” he told the club’s official website.
The likes of Paul Onuachu, Frank Onyeka, and Bright Onyedika are some of the Nigerians who have played for Midtjylland in the past.
