Former Real Madrid winger, Gareth Bale has identified former Manchester City player, Micah Richards as the toughest right-back he has faced during his glistering career as a professional footballer.

But Richards is the one right-back who stood out for the Welsh icon.
When asked to name the toughest right-back he faced during his playing career, Bale told the Times via GOAL:
“The hardest right back I played against was Micah Richards.
“I was a bit quicker, but he was an athlete, so strong and holding.”
Meanwhile, Richards has since retired from professional football.
Before his retirement, the 35-year-old also played for Fiorentina and Aston Villa.
