They stormed key terrorist locations including Garin Malam Ali, Garin Glucose, and Ukuba—all within the notorious Sambisa Forest. The result was swift and decisive: Boko Haram fighters fled in confusion, leaving behind their weapons, ammunition, and vital supplies.

The operation yielded a significant cache of arms and materials, including:

• High-caliber firearms

• Loaded magazines and cartridges

• IED (Improvised Explosive Device) components

Other essential equipment used by insurgents

Photos shared by the Nigerian Army show the scale of items recovered. The military also confirmed that “exploitation of Sambisa Forest is ongoing,” signaling that this is just the beginning of a more aggressive push against terrorists.

For years, the Nigerian Armed Forces have remained dedicated to defeating Boko Haram through ground and air operations across Borno, Yobe, and other regions. Many brave soldiers have paid the ultimate price—but their sacrifices continue to strengthen the nation’s resolve.

The Federal Government has repeatedly promised to end terrorism, and successful missions like this one show that real progress is being made.

Let’s continue to support the Nigerian Army and the CJTF as they fight to secure our land and bring peace back to affected communities.
