According to General Musa, a significant number of insurgents and terrorists encountered on the battlefield are under the influence of hard drugs, which not only dulls their sense of fear but also makes them uncontrollably violent and irrational. This, he explained, often leads to a dangerous resistance even after being shot.
“They are heavily drugged, and that’s why you see some of them still coming at you even after being wounded,” he said. “These substances cloud their judgment.
