Social media activist VeryDarkMan has once again sparked outrage online after sharing a disturbing post on his official Facebook page. In a heartfelt rant, he lamented the growing lack of empathy among doctors and nurses in Nigeria’s public hospitals, questioning, “Where is the humanity in all of you?” He expressed disbelief over how medical professionals appear to value money over saving lives.
He criticized the prioritization of payment before treatment, describing recent encounters that left him deeply shaken. “We are talking about our fellow brothers and sisters, yet people are left to die just because they can’t pay,” he wrote, urging Nigerians to pray that “Nigeria doesn’t happen to you.” While acknowledging government failure, he emphasized that not all the blame should fall on leadership alone.
Referencing the accident on the Third Mainland Bridge that occurred yesterday, involving a trailer and a Hilux vehicle, VeryDarkMan said several victims were rushed to Gbagada General Hospital in Lagos. However, to the shock of many, the hospital reportedly demanded money before administering urgent medical attention to the injured.
