According to NEWS Reports, Trump’s announcement of a ceasefire was unlikely to have come without detailed discussions involving Israel, Iran, and possibly intermediaries like Qatar. “Trump would not have announced a ceasefire without having discussed it in some detail with the Israelis and the Iranians. He further explained that the ceasefire signals came after both sides started feeling the impact of the conflict, though not equally. “Both sides have started to hurt. Not necessarily equally, but there is a degree of hurt, particularly in the last few days. The damage suffered by Israel, their inability to intercept all the missiles, has become greater. So clearly, they were looking for a way out.”
