The victims were reportedly on their way to a grazing site when they were intercepted by armed men believed to be part of a criminal syndicate operating in the area.
The arrest of the suspect at the bustling Izom Cattle Market—an important trading hub for livestock in the region—raises concerns about the possible use of such markets as hideouts or operational bases for criminal elements.
