Senator Abdul Ningi has shared a painful personal story while speaking on the floor of the Senate about the killings in Yelwata, a community in Benue State.

In a video shared by SYMFONI TV, during the Senate debate, Sen. Ningi explained that he recently returned to his home in Kaduna and was met by the father of one of his workers. The man’s son, a university student whom Ningi had helped by paying his school fees in January, had gone to Yelwata from the University of Agriculture in Makurdi — and was tragically killed in the violence.
