According to reports by The Jerusalem Post on Thursday, June 19, Iran employed cluster bomb warheads in its latest missile assault on Israel, Israeli authorities confirmed on Thursday, raising concerns about the increased use of indiscriminate and internationally condemned weaponry in the ongoing conflict.

According to preliminary findings from Israel’s security and defense agencies, the missiles used in the attack fragmented mid-air—approximately seven kilometers above the ground releasing numerous smaller explosive devices.
