According to News Reports, the Zamfara State Government has confirmed the killing of over 100 loyalists of notorious bandits’ leader, Bello Turji, during a major security operation conducted in the Cida Forest of Shinkafi Local Government Area. This marks one of the largest offensives yet against Turji’s armed network, which has long been accused of perpetrating deadly attacks and kidnappings in the North-West region.

The operation, which was led by joint security forces comprising military personnel and other tactical units, targeted several known hideouts believed to be under Turji’s control.
