Omoyele Sowore, activist and former presidential candidate, has challenged long-held assumptions about religion and education in northern Nigeria. Speaking in a video posted by Sahara TV, Sowore highlighted the religious diversity of the region and debunked stereotypes surrounding northern youths and the Almajiri education system.

He pointed out that many southern Nigerians are unaware of the significant Christian populations in northern states, such as Gombe, Bauchi, and Adamawa.
