Ali Larijani, a top advisor to Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, has disclosed that he received a direct death threat just hours before Israel launched a major attack on Iran on June 13.
“Somebody contacted me and said you have 12 hours to leave Iran or stay away from Tehran, otherwise you’ll suffer the fate of your friends like Bagheri and Rashid and join them,” Larijani revealed, referring to two senior Iranian commanders killed in the Israeli strikes.
