In an interview with AIT, Nwanyanwu said that when former President Obasanjo wanted PDP National Chairman Audu Ogbeh to resign, he visited Ogbeh at home, ate with him, and then handed him a resignation letter to sign.

In Nwanyanwu’s words: “Look at now the resignation of Ganduje. I think it is the issue of lack of party supremacy. The way Audu Ogbeh also resigned, the president got to his house, called that he was coming and they should prepare pounded yam and egusi soup with bush meat. President Obasanjo went there, ate and finished and put hand in his pocket and brought a (resignation) letter for him to sign. So party supremacy is not there.
