According to a report by the SaharaReporters on Wednesday, July 2, 2025, an unidentified man was caught inside the toilet of a First City Monument Bank (FCMB) branch in Owerri, Imo State. The man, who reportedly disguised himself as a regular customer, sneaked into the toilet, where he locked himself with the intention of hacking the bank’s system.

An X user, Bishop, posted a video of the incident on the social media platform and narrated how it occurred. He revealed that the unidentified man hid in the toilet’s ceiling and waited until the bank closed. “Yesterday, a customer entered the FCMB branch at Secretariat. He went to the toilet, climbed into the ceiling, and waited until the staff left.
