According to Al Jazeera, the armed wing of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad, the Al-Quds Brigades, has released video footage showing its fighters firing mortar shells at Israeli soldiers advancing into the Khan Younis area of southern Gaza.
The group said the operation was carried out in coordination with the Qassam Brigades, the military wing of Hamas, highlighting a joint effort against Israeli forces.
