During a Thanksgiving service to celebrate the commissioning of several completed projects in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Minister Nyesom Wike strongly criticized what he called emotional support for political figures without scrutiny of their track records. Speaking candidly to a crowd of supporters and political allies, the former Rivers State governor questioned the growing support for Labour Party’s Peter Obi, particularly among Nigerian youths.
In a video posted by TVC, Wike expressed disbelief at how people champion Obi’s presidential ambition despite not knowing him personally or examining his performance while in office.
