Former Real Madrid manager Bernd Schuster has urged Kylian Mbappe to leave Paris Saint-Germain this summer for Los Blancos.
Thank you for reading this post, don't forget to subscribe!Schuster insisted that Mbappe is losing his golden years at PSG, adding that this summer is the right time for him to say goodbye to the French Ligue 1 champions.
Mbappe’s current contract with PSG will expire next summer.
The France captain has been heavily linked with a move to Real Madrid.
“I can’t imagine Joselu becoming Real Madrid’s regular centre-forward. Cristiano Ronaldo and Karim Benzema have always scored 30 or 40 goals a season in the last 10 years, Joselu won’t do that. That is why I think Florentino Perez will sign Mbappe this summer,” Schuster said (via MadridUniversal).
He added: “Mbappe needs to get into one of the top three leagues in Europe as soon as possible, and Real Madrid still need a striker who guarantees at least 30 goals.
“The disappointment at PSG is getting bigger and bigger. He is losing his golden years there. He has to leave PSG now.”
