This has led to big questions over his immediate future.
It started with the player informing the French Ligue1 champions that he won’t be staying beyond the next season.
Real Madrid are widely reported to be his chosen next destination.
But after the latest twist in the saga, reports in France claim Chelsea are interested.
Chelsea are yet to submit any deal but RMC Sport reports that they have entered the race to sign the forward.
The reports also say ‘at least one other’ English club is interested.
Saudi Arabia are also said to have joined the party, with Al-Hilal reportedly ready to offer Mbappe huge €400million wages across two years and a €200m transfer fee to PSG.
