An accident along the Kaduna-Abuja road on Tuesday claimed five lives, with six other passengers sustaining serious injuries.
Thank you for reading this post, don't forget to subscribe!According to Mallam Ahmed Jibril, an eyewitness who was also a passenger in one of the vehicles involved in a head-on collision, the accident was a result of overspeeding.
Jibril, who sustained a minor injury, said they were travelling in an 18-seater bus from Abuja to Kano when their vehicle collided with a Toyota pick-up van with a lone driver from Kaduna, close to Kateri.
The bodies of the dead passengers and those injured had been evacuated to an undisclosed hospital, he told DAILY POST.
