Abducted Passengers: Police Deploy Drones in Benue

The Nigeria Police in Benue has deployed drones across the state to intensify the search for 11 passengers and a driver who were kidnapped in Okpokwu Local Government Area of the state.….KINDLY READ THE FULL STORY HERE▶

The Benue State Police Command said its tactical team are already on the trail of kidnappers.

According to the command’s spokesperson, Useme Edet, the team is working alongside the anti-kidnapping units and the drone surveillance team to conduct a search-and-rescue operation in the bushes across the state.

Edet, a Superintendent of Police said, the police are committed to rescuing the victims unharmed.

Recall that the passengers and the driver were on board a Benue Link Transport vehicle when they were abducted.

The incident, Politics Nigeria gathered took place on Sunday, June 22, along the Otukpo-Otukpa-Enugu highway, near Eke town.
