His remarks came at a meeting at the Bauchi Government House with the party’s Northeast Chairmen and the troubled PDP’s acting national chairman, Umar Damagum. In the midst of continuing party tensions, the meeting was held on Friday.

The meeting took place during which Mohammed, who is also the governor of Bauchi State, admitted that the PDP is presently facing several difficulties.

Despite acknowledging the party’s challenges, he reaffirmed his resolve to find solutions.

Under his leadership of the PDP Governors Forum, he restated his commitment to collaborating with his colleagues to address the party’s challenges.

He wanted people to believe that the PDP could get through these tough times, so he spoke to that effect.

As a result of recent party internal turmoil, acting chairman Umar Damagum has been facing increasing pressure.

He is expected to take action on these matters on his travel to Bauchi, where he would meet with Mohammed and the PDP chairmen from the Northeast. As the party’s leadership faces a time of uncertainty, the significance of unity among them was emphasized at the gathering.
