Nwosu expressed deep concern that the Renewed Hope Agenda of the All Progressives Congress (APC)-led government has exacerbated poverty and hardship across the country.

During a press briefing in Abuja, Nwosu lamented the lack of clarity in President Tinubu’s vision, stating that Nigerians are struggling to understand the government’s objectives.

He argued that the focus should not be on reshuffling the cabinet but rather on defining a clear and actionable vision.

“It’s not about Nigerians asking him to rejig his cabinet members; it’s about the vision of Mr. President. What has he told us Nigerians is his vision? All he is doing is dominating the space of power. If the President, as number one, defined his vision, then we would understand and could advise him. He questioned the Renewed Hope Agenda, asking, “What is renewed hope in? Poverty, infrastructural decay, corruption? Adding more private jets while our foreign debts remain unpaid? Where is the hope? It’s a parochial renewed hope. The President and his men are dancing to a very dangerous tune.”….For More READ THE FULL ARTICLE HERE ▶▶

Nwosu also reflected on Tinubu’s past as a senator and a key figure in the National Democratic Coalition (NADECO), which fought to restore MKO Abiola’s mandate. He expressed disappointment in what he perceives as a shift in Tinubu’s priorities since assuming the presidency.

“For those of us who knew Tinubu in 1991, when he became a senator and participated in NADECO to restore Abiola’s mandate, one wonders, is this what it is all about for you now, Asiwaju? Now that you are in the villa, if this is what it’s about, it shows parochialism. If he has been held hostage, then he needs to free himself and fly. The day his vision is clearer and aligns with ADC’s vision, we will begin to support him,” Nwosu asserted.

Addressing the recent police summons of Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) President Joe Ajaero, Nwosu cautioned the Inspector General of Police (IGP) and other security agencies to act with care and integrity, stressing that their actions have far-reaching implications for over 200 million Nigerians.

“I want to use this opportunity to address the Inspector General of Police and other intelligence agencies: they should be careful. Their actions and inactions are affecting over 200 million Nigerians. I see John Wayne cowboy, wild wild west character,” he warned…..For More READ THE FULL ARTICLE HERE ▶▶
