In a video shared by AIT News, according to the Speaker of the Ogun State House of Assembly, Oludaisi Elemide, the cows were struck by lightning and all died on the spot. He explained that the incident looked like a natural disaster and that no human lives were lost, which was something to be thankful for.
Elemide said, “32 big cows were affected, and all 32 cows died on the spot. I sense it was a natural occurrence, and we commiserate with the man that owned the cows, one Abdullahi Idris.”
