Dr. Omoyele Adekunle, the Amotekun field commander in Osun, announced that eight other suspects were also arrested for various offenses.

During interrogation, the suspect claimed she received the fake currency from a woman in Abuja, who sent it through a dispatch rider. She alleged that she paid N50,000 for the N200,000 in counterfeit notes.
Additionally, Dr. Adekunle reported that other suspects were arrested for offenses including burglary, theft, murder, motorcycle snatching, theft of transformer cables, and attempted kidnapping.
He confirmed that all suspects would be transferred to the police for further investigation and prosecution.
