The APC is now engaging with Senate leaders to reinstate Senator Ali Ndume as Chief Whip, despite his recent dismissal for criticizing President Bola Tinubu and the party.

A party source revealed that the APC is in discussions with Senate leadership to reconsider Ndume’s removal. Deputy National Organising Secretary Nze Chidi Duru confirmed these consultations, stating they aim to recommend appropriate actions to the Senate.
APC National Publicity Director Bala Ibrahim stated that the effort to reinstate Ndume is typical and likened it to a cabinet reshuffle in the executive branch, noting that such changes are also normal in the legislature.
