Nketiah’s time at Arsenal has only been more unpredictable as time passes by. Indeed, having his first professional match at 18 years of age in 2017, he has collected 168 appearances; yet, he has been a starter in only 70 of them.

His 38 goals in seven years trigger questions, especially given stalwarts such as Kai Havertz and Gabriel Jesus have ranked higher than him.

Therefore, moving to another team may be good for him considering the competition that he faces at Arsenal.

Nketiah has not been given any game time under Arteta as he was again an unused substitute when Arsenal beat Wolves 2-0 recently.

There were past affiliations that hinted toward a possible move to Bournemouth especially after they let go of striker Dominic Solanke to Tottenham in a deal that was worth £65 million.

But it came as a major surprise when Bournemouth signed FC Porto’s Evanilson for a record £40. 2 million more than their previous record, which was £28m spent to sign Jefferson Lerma.

Crystal Palace is not yet completely out of the race for Nketiah but any chance will hinge on whether strikers Odsonne Edouard and Jean Philippe Mateta will be sold.

Palace is more eager to keep Mateta, especially now that the team’s star winger, Michael Olise, has left for Bayern Munich in a £50 million deal during the summer.

On the other hand, Nottingham Forest announced that despite signing a couple of players, Nketiah is their primary target.

The young striker was on personal terms with Marseille before the two clubs failed to agree on the transfer fee. His current market value is believed to be at £30-35 million.

As per sources of The Athletic, while Forest offered £35 million, including the addons, their bid has been turned down, although the talks are ongoing. Nketiah, whose contract with Arsenal expires in 2027, is not the only forward that Forest is interested in.

They are also observing Feyenoord’s Santiago Gimenez, who hit the net 26 times in 41 outings last season. Although this plan in an attempt to acquire Gimenez was a failure, they may table another one shortly in the near future.READ FULL STORY HERE>>>CLICK HERE TO CONTINUE READING>>>
