According to 9jalead Official, Wabara expressed his disappointment with Wike’s remarks, stressing that as a former senior government official, he would not lower himself to engage in such exchanges. He labeled Wike’s comments as disgraceful, pointing out that public officials should show greater respect for their positions and avoid speaking recklessly.

In addressing the corruption allegations, Wabara firmly stated that he could confidently deny any such accusations, asserting his innocence. He emphasized that public discourse should be based on respect for elders and be factually grounded, urging Wike to exercise caution in his choice of words.

Wabara’s response stressed the importance of maintaining dignity and restraint in public office. He noted that reckless statements can cause harm not only to the individuals involved but also to the institutions they represent.
