In a tragic incident in Yobe State, gunmen suspected to be Boko Haram insurgents attacked the Faudiya School in Geidam Local Government Area, resulting in the deaths of three students. The attack occurred around 3:44 AM on August 30, 2024, when the assailants invaded the school while the victims were asleep.

Eyewitnesses reported that the gunmen forcibly brought the students outside and shot them. This horrifying event has left the community in shock and fear, as residents expressed their concerns over safety following the attack.
