Governor of Osun State, Ademola Adeleke has described the passing of Oba John Omoloso Makanjuola Oyelusi III, the Elekusa of Ekusa, as a monumental loss to the state.
Adeleke who made this known in a condolence message signed by Olawale Rasheed his spokesperson on Wednesday in Osogbo, also said the late traditional ruler lived for his people and will be sorely missed.

The governor also commiserated with his immediate family, particularly his son, Prince Kunle Makanjuola, who is the Chairman of RATTAWU in Osun State, the royal family and the entire subjects of Ekusa town.
He noted that the late monarch’s reign brought progress to the ancient town.
Governor Adeleke said, “I’m deeply touched by the news of the passing of HRM Oba John Omoloso Makanjuola (Oyelusi III), the Elekusa of Ekusa in Odo-Otin local government area of Osun state.
“Kabiyesi lived for his people, utilising his tool to foster unity and peace of his domain.
