Breaking: Classmates Mourn Loss of 600-Level Student Killed Cycling to Class

Following the tragic demise of Adzo Akpene Ahadzie, a 600-level Architecture student at KNUST, her friends and classmates have shared heartfelt tributes honoring her memory.

It should be noted that Adzo Akpene Ahadzie was involved in a fatal bicycle accident on July 9, 2024, while riding to class.

In numerous social media posts, her colleagues described her as an intelligent and hardworking person beloved by many.

A representative from the College of Architecture and Built Environment stated:

“We”we mourn the untimely passing of Adzo Akpene Ahadzie, a 6th-year Master of Architecture student. Our deepest condolences to her family and friends. Though she has left our midst, her spirit and inspiration will forever build the bridges of our dreams.”

Friends from high school also expressed their grief, one wrote:

“I’ve been very sad after knowing about this unfornate incidence, Adzo had so much Greatness in her. Back in our KNUST SHS days, she was the SRC General Secretary when I was in my first year. She carried aura and intellect. RIP ADZO.”

Francis Adjartey, an alumnus from the college, revealed that Adzo was preparing for a mock jury the day after her death.
