Breaking: DSS Permits Medical Care for Nnamdi Kanu; Hospital Transfer Recommended

The leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) Nnamdi Kanu , Has been granted access to medical attention. Kanu’s lead lawyer, Aloy Ejimakor, disclosed on Wednesday that a preliminary report from Kanu’s physician indicated a complex medical condition necessitating his transfer to a hospital for a detailed diagnosis.

Ejimakor stated, “Today, DSS finally allowed Mazi Nnamdi Kanu’s physician to see him. The doctor’s preliminary report presented complex medical conditions that require that Nnamdi Kanu be taken to a hospital for more detailed diagnosis. This will follow a report that will be sent to DG-DSS by the doctor.”

Earlier, on Tuesday, Ejimakor had revealed that Kanu was experiencing health issues, including low blood pressure, shortness of breath, and general malaise, while in DSS custody. The lawyer emphasized the urgency of Kanu’s medical needs, highlighting the importance of appropriate medical intervention to address his health concerns.

The development marks a significant step in addressing the health issues faced by Kanu, who has been in DSS custody amidst ongoing legal battles. The DSS’s decision to allow Kanu access to medical care comes after persistent calls from his legal team and supporters for proper medical attention.
