A former executive secretary of the National Health Insurance Scheme, Usman Yusuf has been remanded at the Kuje Correctional Centre in the Federal Capital Territory. Yusuf was remanded following an order by Justice Chinyere Nwecheonwu of an FCT High Court on Monday, February 3, 2025. The former NHIS boss is currently facing allegations of fraud and abuse of office levelled against him by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).
