The news of her freedom was announced by her son, Rarara, on his verified Instagram handle on Wednesday morning.

It is unclear whether any ransom was paid to secure Hajiya’s release.
The kidnapping occurred in late June in Kastina state, with the suspected terrorists contacting the family and demanding a ransom.
It should be recalled that the Katsina State Police Command had earlier announced the arrest of two suspects linked to the abduction.
The police statement, issued by ASP Abubakar Sadiq Aliyu, confirmed that the suspects were being interrogated by the authorities.
