Shawai urged the public to disregard reports suggesting that the assembly’s delay in resuming plenary is attributed to fears of attacks linked to the emirate dispute.
He attributed the rumours to “mischievous elements” within society, assuring that the assembly would resume plenary soon.
The spokesperson reaffirmed the assembly’s commitment to working with Governor Abba Kabir-Yusuf to ensure the overall development of the state.
