This was announced in a press statement issued by his media aide, Ajuri Ngelale, on Saturday via X platform, saying that the President would address the nation in a broadcast on Sunday, August 4, 2024, at 7am.

He said, “PRESIDENT TINUBU TO ADDRESS THE NATION; President Bola Tinubu will address the nation in a broadcast on Sunday, August 4, 2024, at 7:00 am.

“Television, radio, and other electronic media outlets are enjoined to plug into the network services of the Nigerian Television Authority (NTA) and the Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria (FRCN) for the broadcast.

“The broadcast will be repeated on the network services of the NTA and the FRCN at 3:00 pm and 7:00 pm on the same day.”

SaharaReporters earlier reported that for the third day in a row, a massive gathering of Lagos State residents and the Take-It-Back Movement converged in Ojota, Lagos State, to continue the peaceful protest.

Under the banner of #EndBadGovernanceInNigeria, the protesters remain united in their pursuit of transformative change and accountability.

With slogans and placards, the demonstrators have maintained a serene and orderly atmosphere, vocally expressing their demands for enhanced governance and a more promising future for Nigeria.
